The Samsung 980 Pro Gen4 NVMe M.2 500GB internal SSD comes in a compact M.2 2280 form factor and for maximum board design flexibility, it can be easily plugged into laptops and desktops. It has read speeds of up to 6900 MB/s, creating it 2x faster than PCIe 3.0 SSDs and 12.7x speedy than SATA SSDs. The 980 PRO is optimized for speed and powered by a Samsungs in-house controller for PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
